"Our case involved trademark and copyright litigation that had been ongoing for some years. Paul had unique insights due to his legal skills and personal interaction with all parties over a significant period. As a result, his sound analysis provided excellent guidance for our litigation strategy. He previously had written documents and letters preserving client's rights that proved critical at trial. Paul 's involvement saved the client considerable legal expenses and significantly contributed to the successful settlement achieved during trial. I am deeply grateful that I had Paul to help me untangle the issues surrounding my case. His clear and direct advice made all the difference."

In a wrongful death suit against a ride-share company and a separate negligent driver, I drafted four separate insurance demands (due to multiple coverages) and fully described the tragic loss of life. After I helped establish the value of the loss for the counsel of record, the total pre-trial settlement was in excess of $2 million, exhausting multiple policy coverage limits.
In a condominium association matter, I assisted the attorney for unit owners after the association was awarded legal fees against the owners. I wrote the appellate brief and reply brief in the 3rd DCA. The trial court was reversed and the unit owners were awarded, and collected, attorney fees against the association.
In a case involving a foreign national, I wrote his story of how back and neck injuries completely altered his life and ability to pursue his passion. He became a shadow of his former self. By detailing his story in a 17 page demand letter for his attorney, (not including any attached medical records) I was able to assist in a successful mediated settlement helping the client to establish a new life in America.
The accident was in North Carolina. The victim's
counsel hired me to write a memorandum supporting a change of venue to Florida. The motion was successful. I also wrote successful motions in limine. Those efforts, along with my assisting rigorous discovery, positioned a strong case ready for trial in Florida. As a result, settlement was reached on the eve of trial.
In a real estate easement matter, I successfully authored a motion to dismiss the defendant's counterclaim. The defendant appealed the dismissal. I then wrote a motion to dismiss the appeal which was granted by the 3rd DCA, clearing the way for the plaintiff to bring a motion for summary judgment.
In a sexual harassment matter between two active duty army members, the client defendant lost at arbitration. On appeal to the trial court with new counsel, the case was dismissed based on a memorandum I wrote regarding lack of jurisdiction over the military matter. The plaintiff appealed and I wrote the appellate brief. The dismissal by the trial court was upheld and the arbitration award stricken.
